Artist, teacher, educator, workshop instructor.
NEWS: Pastel Journal has honoured my work with an 8 page feature article in the Winter 2023 edition of the international magazine. See the article in News!
I love to paint and enjoy teaching art. I have taught hundreds of artists no matter what part of the art journey they're on. Why not benefit from my years of experience and avoid wading through often confusing art books? I can demystify the process so you can get on with enjoying painting! Book a workshop, take a critique session (I like to call them appraisals) or check out my tutorials.
"Christine is the best instructor I have ever had. Energetic, encouraging, logical and knowledgeable. She took a class of artists with varying degrees of ability and taught us all something. She gave each of us personal attention and challenged us according to our ability. She took concepts and techniques that we have all been taught before and she made them real. Thank you Christine.”
Satisfaction Policy on Buying Original Paintings The paintings displayed on my website are as true to the originals as possible. No distortion of the digital image has been used. That said there may be slight color or value shifts (slightly darker or lighter than the image). This is normal as a photograph cannot capture an identical image. Moreover, different digital screens may also affect how the painting looks. The dimensions and medium of the painting are clearly stated and whether they are framed or not framed. If the painting is to fill a certain place in your home use a tape measure to see if it will fit before ordering. My sincere desire is that you are happy with your painting. Please contact me directly if you are not completely satisfied with your order. Satisfaction Policy Commissions Commissions are an agreement between the artist and the buyer and a contract is required before proceeding which sets out in clear detail what will be produced, for how much, dimensions etc. A deposit is taken and the balance is due prior to delivery. Photos of progress (for example, conception, drawing, colors) will be taken and approval sought before proceeding so there is a clear understanding between us about what the final painting will look like.
"Your comments were encouraging and meaningful. It is clear you enjoy teaching and were generous in sharing your extensive knowledge.”
"I had the good fortune to have Christine Camilleri critique my 3 paintings. I learned as much from her analysis of my compositions as I did from listening to her critiques of the other artists' work. It was great to be able to ask questions and get insight from a master artist.”
"The combination of FUN and LEARNING made Christine’s class exceptional and exciting — one that I will be talking about for a long time!”
